Earlier there were reports that Kenix Kwok and her husband Frankie Lam had problems in their marriage. He had already casted Lawrence Ng, William So and a number of previous TVB actors to star in the series. He hopes that the influence of these actors will steal Top ratings from TVB.Kenix admitted that she had also been offered to star in this series but she had decided to temporary rest from fliming any TV series. She hopes to find a role that will allow her to have a good response before she returns to act.
Kenix said "ATV have talked about offering me a role. If I think the role is good I won't mind taking it. TVB had also asked me to return to film a new series. I have a very good relationship with TVB so there will be plenty of opportunities working together in the future".

I'm so glad Kenix plans to continue acting in the near future. There seemed to be implications at various places in the web that TVB has stopped asking Kenix to film for them (e.g. they asked Jessica to film Pillow 2) but now this news proves that was false. So TVB contacted her to film a series. I wonder if it was Pillow 2 or another series. It's good she didn't accept ATV's offer; their productions have low quality.

Reporters are just so annoying. They just like to find anything that they can tie in the marriage crisis rumors. The magazine that report the rumors also said that kenix has lost a lot of weight because of the marriage crisis. And Kenix goes to her maternal home every few days crying. But I do hope these news arent true. I do hope what is true is that what kenix says that she is working with frankie to have a child and not just saying it to stop the annoying reporters. I remember reading a news a few months earlier when kenix went as a guest for the model show some reporter asked her when you're ready to have a child and she said she has not thought of it yet.
It sounds a bit contradictory to what she is saying now. But hopefully kenix is ready to be a mom.
Kenix said she was ready to be a mum anytime BEFORE the stupid rumours began. The reporters are pathetic. I always find it amusing how they find a few pictures and one-off incidents, and make up some ridiculous story.
There has been more stupid stuff written since the front page magazine cover, as predicted. Before they were stalking Kenix, now they are stalking Frankie. Poor Frankie - he'll have to respond to so many silly questions to totally made up stories when he attends FH2promotional functions.
Anyway, back to a more interesting topic as opposed to irresponsible reporting - Kenix accepting acting roles.
In my opinion, I think Kenix will only accept an acting role now, if it is a movie role. Kenix has always expressed a desire to pursue a movie career, but due to her success on the small screen, she was never able to make the transition. In her radio interview in Feb 2007, with Frankie promoting Ten Brothers, host Cha Siu Yan asked her what her goals are career-wise. Kenix said she would love to have a defining movie role. She even disclosed that renowned HK director Johnnie To asked her to be apart of one of his movies. She was offered a role, but had to turn it down because she was filming Red Powder.
So I think Kenix would only seriously consider accepting a role if it is a movie. As we all know filming a TV series is stressful on the body, and if she has taken a year off to restore her health (probably to be in good health to have kids), she's not going to put her body through that again. That's why I think she's only willing to do commercials and functions - less stressful and not as busy, and well if she does get pregnant it won't affect production.
u've made a good point there mtd. i've never known that Kenix wants to further her career in the silver screen arena. at this age, it's unlikely she'll make it big, but i also like to see her in movies. movies are so much easier to find and own an authentic copy nowadays. i hope Kenix still has that determination and will accept some movie roles.
